The College has two NSS units and one NCC unit operational since years. These wings are aimed at creating general awareness among the students about social service and nation building and providing them a platform to transmit the same message to the general masses. The NSS wing has been organizing many social service camps in the society like Cleanliness drive, Anti-Drug addiction Campaign, War against Narcotics, Anti Smoking drive, Blood Donation Camps & other such activities. The aim is to eradicate the hazardous social evils and promote a healthy and crime-free environment.  The NCC Wing is educating the students about how to defend against the anti-social & anti-national elements and serve the country in the times of crises and unrest.



  In consonance with the general laws in effect throughout the country pertaining to the up-liftment of down-trodden and deprived sections of the society, the college runs a Financial Aid programme for the benefit of the deserving students. A good amount of money is being distributed annually among the needy students who fulfill the necessary criteria devised by the College in this regard. The students belonging to down trodden sections are required to submit their application form with the Convenor Financial Aid Committee and after the perusal of the applications the Committee notifies the list of selected candidates on merit basis and distributes cheques among them.



To guide and counsel the students in choosing their career best suited to their abilities and aptitudes in order to compete in the world of stiff competition, the college has established a Career Counseling Cell comprising of the members of the Career Guidance Com­mittee. The college library has also purchased a good number of books re­lated to the competitive examinations such as IAS, KAS, KPS, SSC, NET, SET, JRF, GATE, MAT, etc. for the benefit of the students.



          The College provides the basic First Aid etc to the students in case of any exigency whatsoever.  Proper care for girl students is provided by a female attendant throughout the academic session.



  In order to groom the creative talents of the students and provide them a platform to express their literacy outpourings the college has established a College Literacy Society. The Society organizes Mushairas, Afsana recitation and other literacy activities throughout the session. Students are required to approach the Convener of the said Committee and get their write-ups checked before they actually participate in the recitation programme.



   The College runs a canteen which provides fresh eatables, tea, bread, beverages and necessary stationery items to the students as well as to the College staff at cheaper rates. Thus far, it was working in temporary sheds but fortunately this year the College is in the process of converting a wooden shed into a spacious canteen for both boys and girls.
